Postal Bootcamp
September 16 @ 1:00 pm – September 24 @ 3:00 pm EDT
Presented by The Postal Professor, George Heinrich
Obtaining postage discounts is becoming more and more complicated. Automation compatibility is the key, and mail pieces that are designed to comply with postal guidelines, automated equipment, and include barcodes achieve improved delivery times and significantly reduced postage costs.
Industry statistics show that mail piece designs that are not compatible with automated processing can cause postage costs to double. This makes it critical to ensure that mail piece designs meet USPS guidelines before ink or toner gets on paper. Everyone involved in the creation of a direct mail piece must have a thorough understanding of USPS regulations and how the USPS processes mail. This is a key factor in obtaining maximum postage discounts and minimum delivery times.
Postal Bootcamp will provide attendees with the basic knowledge required to assure your customers that they are getting the best value for their postage dollar. This 8-hour class will be presented in four 2-hour sessions over a two-week period. While recordings will be made available, attending each session live is strongly encouraged.
Session one will be held August 14, 15, 20, and 21 from 1:00-3:00 PM ET. Registration for the August session is now closed. Please join us in September!
Session two will be held September 16, 17, 23, and 24 from 1:00-3:00 PM ET.
