Registration and vendor participation at this year’s National Postal Forum was greater than in recent years, and offered attendees an extensive matrix of sessions, a busy exhibit hall, and evening receptions on Sunday and Monday evenings.
Outgoing Executive Director Maureen Goodson, incoming Executive Director Karen McCormick, Mary Guthrie, NPF’s Director of Marketing and Exhibits, and the entire NPF staff rightly deserve credit for making the event a success at the sprawling Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville.

Mailers Hub was fortunate to have its booth near those of other subscribing companies and supporting partners, including some who aren’t likely to do much mailing.

This year, however, Tuesday evening featured NPF’s Got Talent, a project spearheaded by MTAC Immediate Past Chair Bob Rosser that showcased the talents of eighteen individuals and groups from both the USPS and the industry.

Among them was “Zip+5”, from IWCO’s Pennsylvania facility.

Among the company-sponsored events, arguably the best was produced by Tri-Win Print & Mail Services, featuring local singer-songwriters from Nashville, among them Daniel Andrews (below, left), D. Vincent Williams (lower right), and Lindsey Fish (left center), daughter of Tri-Win’s Scott Fish.

After spending four or more days at the Gaylord – and getting lost in its labyrinthine passageways at least once – most attendees might agree that, though they have tired feet, this year’s NPF was one of the best.
